About us
Across our Italy and Greece sites, we have teams of dedicated associates who work collaboratively for the benefit of our customers and patients. With operations across our main BD segments—Medical, Life Sciences and Interventional—we are able to meet the needs of many people within the region. In Italy alone, we have more than 500 associates across Rome, Milan and Villamarzana working to deliver better solutions.
Our sites
Milan—Italy
In Milan, we have around 300 associates working for different functions such as Sales, Marketing, Technical Support, Market Access, Human Resources, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, Quality and Customer Service.
The local team coordinates BD distribution network in Italy, takes care of our customer needs, guarantees operational excellence through the punctual and precise management of tenders, and offers timely and specialized support to our associates and customers.
Rome—Italy
In Rome, our BDI segment manages products for the diagnosis, treatment and long-term management of urological and oncological diseases and vascular, as well as medical conditions associated with various surgical fields. They focus on promoting collaborative relationships with all healthcare professionals involved, to achieve the common goal of improving clinical and economic results.
Villamarzana—Italy
Located near Venice, our Villamarzana site is the focal point for manufacturing. This site brings together 170 associates at a state-of-the-art production plant which produces infusion set medical devices for customers all over the world outside US.
Greece
At BD in Greece, people from many different cultures share knowledge, ideas and best practice. Being a healthcare leader, we’re continually striving to deliver more innovative solutions for patients, find synergies and create value, and develop strategies and processes that enable us to grow.
