As a Financial Analyst on the Global MMS Finance team, you will serve as finance business partner to the R&D function and support FP&A activities accordingly.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Primary point of contact, finance advisor, and business partner to multiple platform R&D leaders.; own end-to-end processes to support subset of Global R&D financials.

• Consolidate financial information from various global stakeholders/ERP systems.; provide regular summary of performance to R&D leadership.

• Lead development of Annual Strategic Review (ASR), annual budget, and quarterly forecasts for R&D function.

• Lead month-end activities for the business; review financial output for reasonableness.; analyze business performance, identify and understand variance drivers., relay significant variances versus plan to business leaders

• Maintain monthly outlook to assess risks and opportunities versus plan.

• Manage to BD and MMS submission timelines and reporting deliverables during month-end, ASR, annual budget, and quarterly forecast processes.

• Accountable for accuracy, thoroughness, and timeliness of deliverables and analysis.

• Provide support to R&D function and drive alignment cross-functionally between Finance, R&D, PMO, and Commercial organizations.

• Assist in providing leadership to MMS FP&A organization by developing and championing changes to processes, people, and systems as needed.

About you:

• B.S. degree in Accounting / Finance, or a similar subject is essential.

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a finance environment with some exposure to financial analysis, general accounting, manufacturing operations, cost accounting.

• SAP/BPC or Oracle/Hyperion or equivalent is essential.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

• Ability to deliver high level of accuracy under strict deadlines with minimal direct supervision.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex issues to all levels of the organization.

• Proactive, standout colleague, intellectually curious, validated sensitivity to cultural and geographic differences when interacting with others.

• Strong analytical and project management skills; ability to effectively lead multiple projects and processes simultaneously.
