We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer who will be part of a global team developing Web and Cloud applications. The candidate required must deliver high quality software and develop the next generation of Enterprise Informatics platform. The ideal candidate is expected to work closely with the functional leadership in the US and co-ordinate software development across regional teams (India, Europe, and US). The successful candidate will contribute to the development and execution of key product feature sets with a cross-disciplined team and deliver a comprehensive and customer centric solution.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with the web-based development life cycle including planning, design, development and implementation, deployment, and maintenance stages. Knowledge of programming languages, such as C#, .NET frameworks, JavaScript, Angular is mandatory. Public cloud development a plus.
- Design, build, and evolve applications across multiple layers of the technology stack including user interface, middleware, backend and distributed systems.
- Be the go-to technical lead who supports team members with application design, coding and tooling.
- Review application health to identify and resolve technical debt.
- Collaborate with other development teams to design and create interconnected systems
- Encourage innovation and fail fast mindsets and continuously improve our ability to deliver quality solutions by evolving our engineering process and technical capabilities.
- Keep up to date on latest software development methods, language features and design philosophies to contribute to technology roadmap and manage tech debt work.
- Debugging and performance analysis of deployed production systems
- Coordination with Product Owners and support when required.
- Monitor, test, and continuously optimize your designs.
- Provide technical leadership and coaching to the more junior team members to enable them to build better software.
- Strong technical expertise and a minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience in C# and .NET Framework
- Strong JavaScript Frameworks expertise and a minimum of 3 years of experience in Angular
- Strong experience in Entity Framework
- Strong experience in XML querying
- Strong experience in T-SQL
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Typescript, RxJS, HTML, LESS/CSS and Node.js
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with .NET Core
- Experience with Golang (Google programming language)
- Experience writing unit/integration tests and developing applications using a Test-Driven Development approach is mandatory
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Bootstrap and jQuery
- Experience with source controls systems such as Azure DevOps and Git
- Demonstrable understanding of, and experience with SOA and RESTful architectures
